A teachmeet is a semi formal professional learning event that anyone can hold. Generally made up of 7 and 2 minute presentations with a break for networking, teachmeets are a great opportunity to see what other teachers are doing, share your learning or network with other educators.

DigiCon is the annual DLTV conference which brings together educators, pre service teachers, leaders, technicians and industry experts to share and learn in the area of digital learning and teaching.
In 2015 the Digital Festival theme will bring with it opportunities for delegates to come together with like minded educators to share, learn, create and collaborate in the area of digital learning and teaching. The festival atmosphere will highlight the coming together of enthusiastic, passionate and inspiring educators to build a community of digital learning and teaching where delegates learn from each other.
Startup Weekend Education | Organiser | October 2014
We bring together a diverse group of people passionate about making a positive impact on education. In 54 hours, participants share ideas, form teams, build products and launch education startups. Startup Weekend EDU begins with open-mic 60-second pitches Friday night that result in the formation of small teams around the best, most viable concepts. Teams spend Saturday and Sunday focusing on validating their ideas and building prototypes with the help of experienced coaches. On Sunday, teams demo their education products and receive valuable feedback from a panel of expert judges.

The “Connecting the Dots” conference drew on the connections we make as digital educators. Heavily based on the varied connections made in education the conference had a self organised element which allowed the sessions in the conference to connect.

The Provoking Learning with ICT conference allowed all learners to explore the exciting environments and the opportunities for students and teachers to enhance their learning through technology.
The conference highlighted the innovation, creativity and achievement of teachers and students nationally in and beyond the classroom.
The conference was a success and as delegates you enjoyed keynotes from Bruce Dixon, Mary-Anne Williams, Adam Elliot, Nathan Jones, Louise Duncan and Jenny Luca as well as a plethora of great presentations.
